IBEW Local 117 is saddened to announce the passing of Brother James Timmer, who passed away on April 27, 2025, at the age of 81. He was initiated into Local 117 on May 5, 1974, and faithfully served until his retirement on February 1, 2003, marking 28 years of dedicated membership.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 6 from 11 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12 p.m. at The Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake with luncheon to follow. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary, IL.
